Over the years, I mentored at-risk and trafficked teens, volunteered with various ministries to rescue women off the streets, and even traveled to Thailand, which is considered the sex tourism capital of the world. My most challenging, yet most rewarding effort was working on staff at a Redeemed Ministries safe house where I created workshops that engaged newly rescued women to begin the healing process.
