This bracelet was co-designed with a very special friend
If you have ever heard my testimony, you know that the story behind the creation of Gracelets is one of God's grace, restoration and redemption. Truly a story of ashes to beauty. This particular bracelet is no exception. In fact, this bracelet is a symbol of unity and reconciliation ... to the church itself! Having been exiled from the Catholic church as a little girl because of my parent's divorce, I carried shame and confusion about my worth. I didn't know the love and grace of God. Fast forward decades and I was introduced to and fell head over heels in love with Christ at a Baptist church in Houston, Tx at the age of 33. Fast forward another 20 years and isn't it just like God to make a full circle of redemption and put a Deacon and his wonderful wife right next door. My next-door neighbors, Deacon Jim Wright and his wife Christy, and I immediately began a friendship sharing our love for Jesus and it wasn't long before an idea to create a bracelet together came about. This bracelet is very special to me because it's a manifest example of unity, and also how God pursues us and cares about even the little things. He leaves no stones unturned. He is relentless in His pursuit of us to be fully restored. The 'name' of our faith matters not, but only that we "love one another" in Him.
With much love,
Kara
